I was just wrapping up my MPSA application for a paper that I am working on with Jacob Montgomery and found out that first year graduate students can’t apply to present papers!  It ended up being OK because Jacob was able to submit it for us, but I just wanted to give anyone else out there a heads up.  The deadline is tomorrow and you will need someone more senior to do it if you are planning on submitting a paper.
